FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is Phil?
Phil is a 34-year-old Londoner who doesn't yet move in celebrity circles. Full biographical information can be found at www.philwoodford.com
Who is invited to Phil's 35th birthday party?
Personal friends of Phil, as well as a select group of 35 celebrities.
How long are they expected to stay?
The idea is that everyone drops in for 35 minutes, although no one will be timing with a stopwatch. If people are enjoying themselves and want to stay five or ten minutes longer, that's fine with Phil.
Are guests expected to bring presents?
Yes, if they're friends. In the case of celebs, it's their presence that's important.
When is it taking place?
1st November 2003.
What star sign does that make Phil?
Scorpio.
Where is the party taking place?
For security reasons, details of the venue are only being released close to the time of the actual party to people on the official guest list.
Who has agreed to attend?
Although it won't be possible to monitor RSVPs from Phil's friends, this website has been created to give full details of responses from celebrities, their agents and PR representatives. Please check back regularly for updates by clicking on the celebrity circles you'll find on the home page.
Will food, drink and entertainment be provided free of charge?
No. A cash bar will operate, although Phil has kindly agreed to buy an initial drink for every celebrity that turns up. People will make their own entertainment and should eat beforehand.
Can the media attend?
Many celebrities might be deterred if they thought they were going to be hounded by the paparazzi. If, however, a newspaper or magazine wanted to offer an improbably large sum of money for exclusive access, it wouldn't be a problem. All media enquiries should be addressed by e-mail to media@35forphil.com
Can I sponsor the party?
Yes please. Sponsorship is positively encouraged. The event will take place in a cheap and cheerful venue in London unless someone offers free use of a yacht in Monte Carlo.
